Construction started on 14 April on our two newest projects: The TurmflakeSuites in Andermatt and Staff-Home 222 in Göschenen.
Both projects are being constructed using prefabricated timber. SWISS PROPERTY is again relying on wood as the central building material, as its ecological as well as economical credentials from completed projects are convincing. This choice of building material is justified because of its precise handling as well as the countless design possibilities it affords.
TurmfalkeSuites, Andermatt: The Chalet Suites are designed with extraordinary style and elegance, keeping both comfort and sustainability at the forefront. With an indoor swimming pool, a private spa and fitness studio, an indoor golf simulator and much more, this project leaves nothing to be desired. Construction work will be completed by 31 December 2021.
Staff-Home 222, Göschenen: 17 apartments are being built here for seasonal workers and employees based in Andermatt and its surroundings. The use of prefabricated timber in its construction ensures that completion will be within twelve months. The employee apartment building is scheduled to be completed by 31 December 2020.
Next Friday, we will start concreting the ground floor, including the spa area in the TurmfalkeSuites. Demolition work has also been completed in Göschenen, so that the excavation and the preparation of the foundations can start this week. The cranes for both projects will also be erected at the end of this week.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our workers on site and our partners. Even in the times of Covid-19, we can implement our projects as planned with the necessary safety measures in place. Many thanks!
